Lots of jobs on offer this week including, cobblers (shoemakers), butchers, bakers, farmers, cloth makers, tax collectors and more. If you are Jew, you could be a money lender or a banker. The two jobs we are featuring this week are cobblers and bankers.

Cobblers- Every one wants shoes and we need highly trained masters or apprentices for our thriving business. Our shoes are high quality and can last for over 2 years and sell for around 3 Shillings.

- masters need 5 years experience

- pay is 1 shilling a day

- 80 hours a week, Sundays off

- apprentices 11 years and up

-7 years of training will be provided

- one pence a day

- 90 hours a week

- once qualified you may pay to join a guild

Badminton is a game that can have two to four players and it's like tennis you hit a birdie (shuttlecock) and you get 1 point every time it hits the ground of the opposing players side.

You may bring your own racket or rent one from us.

Chess is a game where the main objective is to get rid of the opposing players king. This is a two player game and can take longer than one hour! Our pieces are made of bronze, marble, bone, terracotta, ivory, lead, and silver. Our board are made of ivory, stone, and wood. Come into our store to play a game or purchase some pieces. Our store is on Main Street next to the Ye Old Cobbler Shop.

Everyone loves playing Blinds Man Bluff. It's a game like tag, only the tagger is blindfolded and they have to guess who that person is they catch. If they guess the person correctly then they become the tagger, but if wrong they have to remain and keep chasing. Games will be held at the Church's garden.
